About Jed's Run
Jed’s Run is a small farm filled with adopted and rescued animals. All animals are dearly loved pets, and none are eaten or bred with. At Jed's Run, we enjoy spending time with our animals and on the land.
We also run a business, providing Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) and Horse Care classes, producing hay, and providing agistment.

Gregory Wighton and Samantha Gierveld are the caretakers of Jed's Run.
Sam bought the property in 2020. She is a passionate and lifelong animal lover. Owning her own farm has allowed her to indulge this fully!
Greg grew up on a farm, and has all of the know-how to keep things running smoothly. He enjoys growing things, and caring for the animals.

Jed was the first dog Sam adopted as an adult. He was a soul mate and true friend, and got her through a lot in her life.
Jed passed away in 2020, not long after moving to the property. He now rests there, and the property has been named in his honour.
