Below are links to rescue organisations, businesses and groups who are important to us at Jed's Run. We always try to credit those who deserve it, so you may see these names mentioned on our website or Facebook page. Please check them out!

Rescue organisations

• J&D's Farm Sanctuary - located in Carag Carag, Vic. This is where pigs Bootes and Capella and chooks Safia, Ebony, Meg and Mac were adopted from.

• Strong Hearts Farm Sanctuary - located in south west Victoria. This is where pig Dumbo was adopted from.

• Forever Friends Animal Rescue - located in Melbourne, Vic. This is the group that most foster dogs and cats are through, and also where cats Peter and Shammy were adopted from.

• Wodonga Dog Rescue - located in Wodonga Vic. This is where Paxton and Tilly were adopted from.

• Belgian Shepherd Rescue - located in Congupna, Vic. This is a rescue run out of GV Boarding Kennels and Cattery, where Sam works part time. Some foster animals are from this rescue, including current foster Shammy.

• Pets Haven - located in Woodend, Vic. This is where Bruce was adopted from in 2011.

• Free Spirits Sheep Sanctuary - located in Glenrowan, Vic. This group has been instrumental in teaching me how to care for the pigs, and also helped to get Dumbo here.

• Hoofs 2010 Brumby Rescue - located in Berrigan, NSW. A previous resident of Jed's Run, the young Brumby Nijong, was adopted from here, and they were able to take him back at a later date to find him a home better suited to him.

• Australian Equine Facilitated Learning - this is the governing body of EFL in Australia, providing certification of facilitators and ensuring quality in those they endorse.

• Invergordon Discount Feeds - local to Jed's Run, this fantastic business delivers feed to us every week.

• GV Boarding Kennels and Cattery - located in Congupna, Vic. This is where Sam works part time, and the proprieter Jody Haffey is an incredibly generous and caring person. She also runs Belgian Shepherd Rescue and Rehabilitation.
